Big Angustidens (Megalodon ancestor) fossil shark tooth found digging and sifting the ancient fossil layer and ocean floor ay @palmettofossilexcursions! This species didn’t get quite as large as megs did so this size is considered very larger for an Angustidens. Exhausting digging over 2 days and this was the largest Megalodon Shark Tooth found here at Palmetto Fossil Excursions between 7 diggers including Coyote Peterson, Lexie Limitless, Mario Aldecoa and Trent Underwood. This area, and some of the Eastern Coast of the United States, used to be ocean back when Megalodons were alive.
