Trimming a stoneware lidded jar form. They’re intensive pots to finish as every external surface is trimmed, even the inside of the lid, but after repeating this process hundreds of times I think I’ve figured out the easiest route. The parts act as chucks for each other, which ultimately means there’s a little less fiddling around with lumps of clay when turning these. Attaching the pot down with slip at the start helps too, can’t believe it took me almost eight years to start doing that. #potte
