Ein ganz besonderer Ort: die kleine Insel Spinalonga auf Kreta... Warst du schon mal da? 💙 Im 16. Jahrhundert bauten die Venezianer hier eine mächtige Festung. Die Türken übernahmen die Festung 1715 und gründeten dort ein Dorf. Sie zogen erst 1903 weg, als die Insel zu einer Leprakolonie umfunktioniert wurde. Erst als um 1950 das erste Medikament gegen Lepra verfügbar wurde, kehrten viele Leprakranke nach Kreta zurück. Spinalonga kann mit einer Bootstour von Elounda, Plaka und Agios Nikolaos au
