BARKING UP THE WRONG TREE? 🌿 OK... well clearly koalas don't bark.. but eat bark? 😮 Wild Wednesday fun fact! Koalas eat bark! A few weeks ago we shared CW chowing down on some caterpillars 🐛, now Koala Carer Anni has captured Benny chowing down on bark in his enclosure!! 🐨 Koalas are known to not only eat bark, but also soil and flowers (and evidently caterpillars!). These choices appear to be for a nutrient boost for our koalas when they need it... we could think of better things than bark!
