The weak layers are gaining strength slowly but we still decided to stick to low angle terrain to avoid the possibility of triggering a big avalanche. Above 2200' the ski conditions were good. At 2,200’ there was 6-10” of new snow. We dug a snow pit and got concerning results on some weak snow about 1.5’ down from the surface.
