A few little snippets of a recent Chocolate Labrador painting I completed a few weeks ago =). I used many glazes throughout the layers to adjust colours. There are many stages shown here where the fur colour isn't correct but my main focus during these layers was values. I am building up the contrast through subtle layers and not having to worry about mixing the exact colour at each stage.
