Firefly Aerospace’s Blue Ghost lunar lander has captured new video footage of the Moon from about 62 miles above its surface. The lander, launched in January 2025, is set to land on March 2, 2025, in Mare Crisium, a large flat area on the Moon’s near side. The video shows the Moon’s craters and rough terrain, with the lander’s equipment faintly visible as it adjusts in space. Carrying 10 NASA instruments, Blue Ghost will study the Moon’s soil and other features for about 14 days after landing. I
