This hit a nerve with me. This is not a Bertram! Not the iconic name and brand I grew up with. Some brand extensions work such as Ferrari making its first SUV, and many other examples. Freeman is a Freeman, Contender is a Contender, Yellowfin is a Yellowfin, Valhalla is a Valhalla, this is NOT a Bertram. The brand extension does not work, as a loyal Bertram customer for 4 decades, IMHO this is a mistake and a tragedy to the brand. I am not questioning how good or not good this boat or product is
