Moose is our newest ambassador. He was brought to us after a well meaning family kept him while looking for an available Rehabber. Their diet is so specific, surprisingly, and due to the wrong diet, Moose has metabolic bone disease. This is why he looks like he crawls when he walks. Because he’s been on a corrected diet for 6 weeks, he is now able to walk. I think he will make a great ambassador to teach people the important role opossums play in our environment-and he’s so damn cute. #opossumso
