In Australia this variety of camellia flowers from March to July, but in the northern hemisphere, it flowers in the Christmas season, hence its name. It prefers a sunny to part shade position in rich well-drained soil. Water regularly in warmer months. Camellias are perfect for hedging, or as a feature plant. These would look especially good in pots too!
