What better way to end snake week day 2 than with this video?! 😱 This Coastal Carpet Python picked up the scent and feel of a dog blanket, and confused it for a real animal! It “contricted” the blanket and began to swallow it. Thank goodness Stu arrived quickly and was able to interfere before this caused the snake damage or a long vet visit! Encouraging the snake to regurgitate the blanket itself was the safest way to go about this situation, and we are so glad it went as smoothly as it did! C
