Meet the Red Panda, also known as the “firefox.” Native to the Himalayas and forests of China, these adorable climbers spend most of their time among the trees, feasting on bamboo and occasionally fruit or berries. Despite their name, they’re not closely related to giant pandas — they’re in a family all their own. Sadly, Red Pandas are endangered, with fewer than 10,000 left in the wild.
