Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie suffered an upper body injury from this collision with Edmonton Defenseman Matthias Ekholm. T.J. left the game and did not return. Washington has announced that Oshie will not travel with the team to California for their west coast trip. T.J. has missed numerous games the last couple years with various injuries.
