The George B. Spencer House on Savannah's Warren Square was built in the 1790s saved - twice! The portico on this home was added or rebuilt in the 1830s. By the middle of the 20th Century, the Spencer House had fallen into a nearly derelict state, saved by Historic Savannah Foundation in the 1950s, which took essential steps to preserve.
