Jan 27, 2023 · Clichy - lesser known area of Paris but near La Defense which is the France Equivalent of Canary Wharf in the UK. (business district) there are 3 stations within clichy. One with line RER C as well as trams and tubes. Lovely area - not the poshest or most expensive area but certainly fine for a few days

Sep 9, 2022 · Intersting, I’d disagree. We just booked 10 days throughout France the even with the cleaning fee the Airbnbs were quite a bit cheaper. Instead of getting just a bed, a desk in a 15x20 square foot room we get an entire flat. We can come back and watch tv on the couch in the living room after a day of exploring.

Feb 25, 2024 · My facebook marketplace region recently switched from my current country (U.S.) to Paris, France out of the blue and won't let me switch it back! I can switch the location to other European countries, but not to my own.

Hi friends, I’ll be spending a few days in Paris in two weeks and I’m working on a perfume-related list of “things I shouldn’t miss”. I’m thinking more about iconic/historical places. So far I have: Serge Lutens Palais Royal shop. Will probably be looking for a hard-to-find bell jar, if available. Guerlain Champs Elysees shop.

Only comments are: Paris is always Paris, but the sun goes down at like 5pm. It’s cold, it’s grey, things aren’t open as much. We got sick which happens in winter, and the apartment would not keep warm! Damn radiator heating. So my naysayer viewpoint is to go somewhere warmer. Maybe fly in/out of Paris and head down to Nice or Côte d’Azur.

May 24, 2023 · Deciding between Paris vs. Bruge as a 24 hour, overnight trip from London. If going to Paris wouldn’t try to see much but more so eat? Shop and walk around. I’m concerned as a solo female traveler that Paris might not be too safe right now based on reading, would appreciate any more insight.
