KERRVILLE, Texas (AP) — Rescue crews in Texas kept a wary eye on river levels Monday, hoping to resume the search for people still missing from catastrophic flooding that pummeled the central part of the state earlier this month and killed at least 132 people.

Investigators suspended the search for missing people in the aftermath of flooding in Texas last week amid a level 3 alert for more potential floods as forecasters predict heavy rain through Monday.

President Trump has not talked about eliminating FEMA as the emergency response agency helps with recovery efforts from the Texas floods.

Earlier Monday, the National Weather Service (NWS) for San Antonio warned that a "dangerous situation is occurring" in areas of Texas.
