Tensions are simmering at the Line of Control (LoC) between India and Pakistan after the terror attack in Pahalgam left 26 people dead. Indian army chief General Upendra Dwivedi is in Srinagar to take stock of the security situation.

His spokesperson expressed deep concern over the situation and urged both governments to exercise the utmost restraint to prevent further deterioration of relations.
