The Diocese of Lincoln has suspended a priest and teacher with Pius X amid self-reported allegations of sexual misconduct.

The Diocese of Lincoln placed the Rev. Joseph Bernardo, a long-time Pius X teacher, on administrative leave after he reported sexual misconduct to a counselor, the diocese said.

The Rev. Joe Bernardo told his therapist that he would intentionally rub or brush himself up against male students, according to a letter from the Diocese of Lincoln.

A body found in southwest Lincoln over the weekend has been identified as Tyler Goodrich, officials confirmed Monday.
