Titled “Fast,” the single marks Lovato’s return to the pop music genre after she’d previously tapped into rock in her previous record Holy Fvck. Her ninth album will be executive produced by music producer Zhone, who has notably collaborated with Kesha, Troye Sivan and Charli xcx.

The track, which is the lead single from the musician's forthcoming ninth studio album, comes after she began teasing her return to pop music last month
