The Reds continue to shuffle this roster as they try and keep things afloat ahead of the mid-summer classic. After making four moves yesterday they followed it up today with another three moves.

RHP – Trevor Kuncl. The Reds have assigned Kuncl to the roster ahead of today’s game with the Rockies. He was last with the Texas Rangers organization in 2024.

Meanwhile, the Reds sending Bubba Thompson down to Double-A doesn't come as much of a surprise. He has exactly two more hits than you and me this season with 11 strikeouts in 18 at-bats.

But with a roster crunch, the Reds couldn't keep him on the active roster. Fairchild will report to the Louisville Bats, and he'll likely be back on the active roster when there's another injury.
