Kate Middleton returned to Wimbledon’s Royal Box on Saturday, ahead of the women’s final between Poland’s Iga Świątek and American Amanda Anisimova. Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, the Princess of Wales upholds the tradition of presenting the championship trophies.
Kate, the Princess of Wales, arrived at the All England Club on Saturday and was set to present the trophy to the winner of the women's singles final at Wimbledon, after not attending the match last year while she was recovering from cancer.
There will be a first-time winner of the Wimbledon women’s title on Saturday after Iga Swiatek and Amanda Anisimova reached the final.
The women's singles semifinals will take place on Thursday and start at 8 a.m. ET. Both matches can be viewed on ESPN and live-streamed on ESPN+. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Sabalenka (-250) is favored against Anisimova (+195), while Swiatek (-300) is favored over Bencic (+235).
Sabalenka immediately responded by bringing a bottle of water and an ice pack to the section of the crowd in the East Stand.
