Sony is discontinuing its PlayStation Stars loyalty program only three years after it launched. The free membership program allowed players to collect rewards, loyalty points, or digital collectibles for playing specific titles and completing certain in-game tasks.

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) announced the closure of the PlayStation Stars loyalty program. The company said the loyalty program will stop accepting new members effective immediately. Sony also added that the program will officially end in November next year. Sony announced the end of its PlayStation Stars loyalty program.

You can no longer sign up as of today. The program began in 2022, offering points for things like trophies and purchases.
