A 2-year-old boy was killed and 13 other people were injured after a car crashed into a Portillo's restaurant in the west suburbs Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Two people who were detained after a dispute prompted a temporary lockdown at Westfield Old Orchard Mall on Tuesday afternoon have now been released and no charges will be filed, Skokie police said.
