A report was issued from the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 9:17 p.m. for freezing rain until Thursday at 2 a.m. for Niagara, Erie, Genesee, Wyoming and Livingston counties.
The winter storm isn't going away any time soon. Near-frigid temperatures will persist on Wednesday with highs in the 40s in some Bay Area cities.
National Weather Service meteorologist Adam Roser said wind advisories covering the valley were scheduled to remain in effect until 4 p.m. Wednesday with forecasts calling for winds of 30 to 40 mph, and some gusts that could reach 60 to 75 mph.
