The wife of South Korea’s jailed former President Yoon Suk Yeol has been arrested as investigators seek to charge her over various suspected crimes, including bribery, stock manipulation and meddling in the selection of a candidate.

A South Korean special counsel arrested Kim Keon Hee, wife of detained former President Yoon Suk Yeol, local media reported Wednesday

Kim Keon Hee is accused of bribery, stock fraud and other allegations. Her arrest came due to fears she would destroy evidence and interfere with the investigation. Her husband, too, is under arrest.
