Sony is discontinuing its PlayStation Stars loyalty program only three years after it launched. The free membership program allowed players to collect rewards, loyalty points, or digital collectibles for playing specific titles and completing certain in-game tasks.

PlayStation Stars will be shuttered, starting this week. No new member signups will be supported with points no longer redeemable in November 2026.

You can no longer sign up as of today. The program began in 2022, offering points for things like trophies and purchases.
