Oahu's North Shore community is coming together to rebuild and restore what was lost during the catastrophic flooding.
Emergency flash flood alert extended on Oʻahu to the north half of the island at 8 a.m., southern half at 10:30 a.m. Wahiawā Dam could fail.
At several locations, community members set up distribution sites offering free food, water, and cleaning supplies to those affected.
The visuals were stunning early Friday morning as residents began posting on social media to alert about the catastrophic flooding on Oahu’s North Shore. “The worst flood I’ve ever seen,” North Shore State House Representative Sean Quinlan said.
