NHL free agency opens on Tuesday, and the Dallas Stars are preparing to put some final touches on the roster. After reaching the Western Conference finals in three consecutive years and firing head coach Pete DeBoer earlier this month, the Stars are looking to reload heading into the 2025-26 season.

The second tier of marquee NHL free agents will come into the spotlight on Tuesday. Mitch Marner, Brad Marchand and Aaron Ekblad are all off the board. That should lead to a frenzy around Vladislav Gavrikov, Brock Boeser, Nikolaj Ehlers and a few others.
