LeBron James has had a drama-filled offseason. Despite opting into his player option to remain with the Los Angeles Lakers, his agent, Rich Paul, issued a statement that sounded awfully like a farewell to the Lakers.

There were reports suggesting that the Dallas Mavericks had interest in trading for LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers. After James had his agent, Rich Paul, make polarizing comments to ESPN and The Athletic, many believe there was an opportunity for him to be traded.
