Amid rising tensions with India, Pakistan’s defense minister declared his country’s innocence in a terror attack that killed 26 people this week in Kashmir territory.

(Reuters) - Pakistan believes an international investigation is needed into the killing of 26 men at a tourist spot in Indian Kashmir this week and is willing to work with international investigators, the New York Times reported on Friday, quoting Pakistani Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif.

India and Pakistan's reciprocal actions following the killing of 26 men by suspected militants at a tourist spot in Kashmir are set to further curtail trade, which has more than halved since 2018, trade analysts and exporters said.
