The Dallas Cowboys rebuild their defense with a powerful EDGE and intelligent LB in a recent 2026 NFL mock draft.
The Dallas Cowboys are adding another hire on the defensive side of the ball under new coordinator Christian Parker. They’re bringing on Green Bay Packers passing-game coordinator Derrick Ansley. Dallas also recently hired Arizona Cardinals cornerbacks coach Ryan Smith.
Laidlaw was the featured running back during the Cowboys' 1978 playoff run, which culminated with a 35-31 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XIII. Laidlaw would start only eight regular season games for the Cowboys from 1976-79 before he was released and signed with the NFC East rival Giants for the 1980 season.
