The New Orleans Pelicans defeated the San Antonio Spurs 114-96 on Friday night behind a team-high 22 points from Zion Williamson. The two-time all-star has scored at least 22 points in five of the last six games despite being on a minute restriction.

Injuries have perhaps been the biggest hurdle New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson has had to overcome throughout his six-year NBA career. His weight has always been an issue as well, with fans and critics alike associating it (and his supposed unhealthy eating habits) with his susceptibility to injuries.

Zion has played well of late, averaging 27.1 points a game on 61.8% shooting with 6.7 rebounds a night in his last 10 games.
