Indiana State Police are helping direct traffic and clean-up efforts after an Amazon truck crashed Sunday, spilling natural gas onto the road.

The driver of a semitruck was taken into custody after leading police on a chase through multiple counties, ending when spike strips were deployed to flatten the tires and stop the vehicle.

Twiggs County Chief Deputy Buddy Long says a woman was hit and killed around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 96, near Gallimore Mill Road.

Idaho State Police said the driver of a Subaru Outback failed to yield at a stop sign on Highway 20/26 and was struck by a semi-truck.
