Jeremy Swayman will not play in Thursday's game against the Ottawa Senators due to an upper-body injury suffered the day before.

Swayman (upper body) is expected to at least be an option ahead of Saturday's clash with Colorado, Scott McLaughlin of WEEI 93.7FM reports. Swayman hasn't been confirmed as the starter but is at least available if called upon.

The Boston Bruins may get a boost to their lineup, as goaltender Jeremy Swayman is expected to return to the lineup on Saturday afternoon against the Colorado Avalanche.
