The New Jersey Devils could be without their starting netminder for a bit. In Wednesday’s game against the Boston Bruins, Devils netminder and former Calgary Flame Jacob Markström suffered an injury after Justin Brazeau crashed into him.
The former Calgary Flames goalie stayed down and needed assistance getting off the ice, eventually skating on his own. New Jersey head coach Sheldon Keefe said Markström "will miss some time," but he was in good spirits about this possible lower-body injury.
