This weekend marks the 48 annual Duck Festival in Gueydan. Every year, the festival hosts a duck and goose calling contest where competitors blow a 60 second routine in front of blindfolded judges.

The Duck Calling competition is slated for 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 2, preceded by the Michigan Goose Calling competition at 1 p.m. The calling competitions include Master and Novice divisions.
