This weekend brings our next chance for rain. A cold front will cross our area on Sunday morning, but showers may start rolling in to parts of our area Saturday evening. Rain will become likely after Midnight, so expect a soggy Sunday morning (especially before 7AM).
The National Weather Service reports moisture with this most recent system has been on the low side with less than 0.15 inches of rain recorded in the valleys from late Monday through 8 p.m. Tuesday. Wednesday’s rain will be more robust, and an additional half inch is possible in the metro area.
