After missing the 2026 NCAA Tournament, the Sooners accepted an invite to the second-ever College Basketball Crown.

According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel and The Oklahoman’s Colton Sulley, Porter Moser will return as the Sooners’ head basketball coach for the 2026-27 season. Moser met with Oklahoma athletic director Roger Denny to discuss program building for the next campaign.
