WORCESTER — A shopping plaza on Main Street was destroyed by fire the evening of Monday, Oct. 20. Flames and heavy smoke filled the building at 817-823 Main St. at the corner of Benefit Street in Main South. The fire was reported about 8 p.m. and continued to burn late into the night.
