The family of Virginia Giuffre has strongly condemned Ghislaine Maxwell following the release of transcripts from a recent interview the convicted sex trafficker gave to the US Department of Justice.

Giuffre died by suicide in April at the age of 41. Before her death, she and journalist Amy Wallace were worked together on the memoir, with a completed manuscript of 400 pages. An email is included in the publisher’s statement, in which Giuffre emphasizes to Wallace the importance of the memoir being released.
