Trey Hendrickson wants a new contract, and Shemar Stewart still hasn't signed his rookie deal. The Green Bay Packers may be able to solve at least one half of that.

As of this writing, the Cincinnati Bengals remain highly unlikely to trade star defensive end Trey Hendrickson. While the contract standoff doesn’t sound any closer to ending despite Hendrickson being in town, both parties have plenty of time between now and training camp to get something done.

Cincinnati is clearly better with Hendrickson on the field than otherwise. He has 35 sacks over the last two seasons for a reason. His motor and aggressive playing style are something the Bengals defense needs as they look to rebound from a disappointing 2024.
