Artemis II’s long journey to the moon and back is expected to end with a glorious splashdown in the Pacific Ocean on Friday evening. The crew is scheduled to hit the water around 8:07 p.m. ET about 80 miles off the coast of San Diego,
"The location and time of our Artemis II splashdown are dynamic as mission milestones are reached," a NASA spokesperson said.
