(Clarkesville) – North Georgia Technical College’s (NGTC) Board of Directors and Foundation Board of Trustees were recently recognized during the Technical College System of Georgia’s (TCSG) Annual Leadership Conference in Savannah.

It was an action-packed week for Georgia Tech football without playing a game. The Yellow Jackets entered their bye week after losing to NC State, dropping in the rankings.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, led by quarterback Haynes King, face the Boston College Eagles on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025 at Alumni Stadium in Chesnut Hill, Mass.

Sharon Landrum of Winterville, Ga., was named the 2025 Alumni Hall of Fame Award winner. Landrum graduated from NGTC in 1980 with a degree in Data Processing. She began her career in the banking industry before becoming a programmer at Bigelow-Sanford,

Georgia Tech trailed 28–17 entering the fourth before ripping off 19 points. Aidan Birr’s 23-yard field goal with 11 seconds left capped a 13-play, 69-yard march engineered by quarterback Haynes King, who threw for 25 yards and ran for 27 on the deciding drive. The Yellow Jackets are 3–1 this season when trailing after three quarters.
