Liam Coen on Thursday night informed the Buccaneers that he will take the Jaguars head coaching job, a source told ESPN's Jenna Laine, a decision that came a day after he had broken off talks with Jacksonville.

After not hearing from Liam Coen for much of Wednesday and Thursday, the Buccaneers have gotten word from their offensive coordinator. Per multiple reports, he has informed the Buccaneers that he’ll become the next head coach of the Jaguars.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are interviewing Tampa Bay offensive coordinator Liam Coen after all. It's the latest turn in a covert operation that included owner Shad Khan moving on from general manager Trent Baalke and Coen reversing course with the Buccaneers.
