The far right is celebrating what it views as a clear signal from the X owner and Donald Trump associate, who made the gestures on stage Monday.

Musk, 53, spoke to a crowd of Trump supporters at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., after Trump was sworn in at the U.S. Capitol. While thanking the supporters, Musk put his right hand over his heart, then extended his arm out with his palm down. He then turned around and repeated the gesture.

X users accused Elon Musk of doing the 'Hitler salute' during his inauguration speech in a huge blunder, but others defended him and said he was just celebrating
