Air India has announced an extension of its total flight suspension to and from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Qatar until 2359 hrs IST on March 2, 2026. The decision follows a rigorous safety and security assessment of the escalating geopolitical situation in the Middle East.
India's Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) said flight operations have been disrupted due to ongoing developments in West Asia and airspace restrictions. It said 278 flights scheduled for the day have been cancelled by Indian domestic airlines.
