Ole Miss senior outfielder Tristan Bissetta hit two home runs against Baylor on Friday – including a game-tying solo shot in the eighth inning – though the Bears ultimately rallied back to tie the game in the ninth and take the lead in the 10th.

After a strong finish to the 2024 season, Baylor took a step back in 2025. The Bears finished the year 5-7, their third losing season in their last four years. Head coach Dave Aranda has already gotten to work rebuilding the roster for next season. Most notably, he added ex-Florida quarterback DJ Lagway in the transfer portal.
