Actor Steve Guttenberg, who lives near Pacific Palisades, has been helping to evacuate residents and move cars to clear a path for firefighters. He said after an evacuation order was issued, many found themselves stuck in gridlocked traffic and that's where he stepped in.

The "Three Men and a Baby" actor told CNN that he hadn't "seen anything like this in my entire life, and I don't think many people have."
