The Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Lynx paid tribute to the state politicians and their spouses who were shot by a suspect allegedly impersonating a police officer overnight.
An investigation is underway after a shooting Saturday inside a Hoover restaurant. Officers responded at 1:47 p.m. to Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux on Tattersall Park Drive. Capt. Keith Czeskleba said one person was injured and taken to the hospital in stable condition. The shooting was an isolated incident, Czeskleba said.
Officers responded just after 1:30 a.m. to Prospect Avenue and East 35th Street on a reported shooting. They found four people in a BP gas station parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds, said Sgt. Phil DiMartino, a police spokesman.
