After years of discussion and consideration, the university presidents voted to adopt a nine-game conference schedule beginning next fall.

With the SEC now playing nine conference games, while still requiring a 10th Power Four nonconference opponent, fans everywhere will get more big games that matter.

Alabama starting running back Jam Miller is expected to be back from his collarbone injury in time for the Tide's SEC opener against Georgia on Sept. 27.
